I can understand if you don't like him but his age is not an issue, a ton of people here are up for signing Arnott and he is 37

NJ will fall apart. OTT wont get that same production out of karlsson and they lost solid role players. TOR makes the jump but gets murdered in 4 in first round.
BOS wont be the same without thomas. BUF will put everything together.

NSH will lose both suter and weber and wont be near the same team. LA will show up to play all year. MIN will finally get everything together. COL has gotten better and will be better with a healthy year from everyone and downie all year. DAL will have a solid top 6 and vet leadership all over the place. DET will sneak in with that much younger lineup.

Yeah Arnott is 37 and can still fill the net, plus like you said he brings a ton of leadership and respect with him.

The more I think about this the more seriously I think our trading partner is going to end up being the San Jose Sharks if any at all.

What do we think about Vanek and say Leopold for Pavelski ?

Will it really take more then that to get a deal done with San Jose and we can both help out one another in the meanwhile with a fair deal ?

Vanek is 28 while Pavelski is 27 .

Seems like a fair enough deal to me.

No way.

Leaves us woefully inept at LW. Foligno has promise, but unproven. Love Ott, but he's a 3rd liner. Leino...well, what can I say about him? Gerbe? Yikes.

I also prefer Arnott to Wellwood due to what he brings to the table, even at 37 the guy still has some left in the tank, perfect 3rd line center if you ask me.

There hopefully will be a move soon. we have too many wings and still have no real # 1 center or # 3 center. I hope Grigs makes team but thats a big hope I realize ennis and Hodson are two centers if hodson1 ennis 2 we need a 3 if ennis 2 hodson 3 wee need a 1. lost scoring with Roy love adding otts toughness. But scoring was a big issue last year. As time passe less optomistic about a trade
