Aye i think a lot of people go on with less than 50k and still manage to get by. I'm so far from retirement that i've barely even considered it. I intend to buy parts through my company's actions plan and put them in a REER or something. Like i said, i'm ill informed when it comes to retirement.

I'm budgeting for more than 50 a year.

Oh sure, once or twice a year just like you would if you are working, but the point of not working would be to spend more time doing stuff like that

u can rent a place in Florida(Arizona too?) for $1000 a month and stay there 6-8 months depending on province so you only need a cottage/townhouse here or something..

And awesome deals on places in States now if you have extra cash..
