I can understand why Bettman sticks to his plan, because if he ever manages to bring people in Atlanta and Phoenix to become hockey fans like he did in Nashville, Tampa, Sunrise,San José, Anaheim and LA, the league revenues will grow exponentially.

If they stayed in Phoenix they would still get the 13-15k fans and wouldn't distract from the leagues largest issue, the NY Islanders who have half their cap space taken by a guy in Russia on a 13 year buyout and a goalie on the LTI every year with a 27 year deal.
