1 change at most IMO and that'd be a winger. |

Galchenyuk is as much of a center as he is a winger. He's able to play all 3 forward positions. It would make much more sense to turn HIM into a winger and give him Eller at center then watch to see if both the kids can live long and prosper. There is no doubt in my mind that Eller has all the tools he needs to be an efficient offensive forward, be it on a 1st or 2nd line. - PRICEless
Didnt know he could play wing.
If so.. then put the best faceoff man up t o center |

Great... Fans have cried for a big #1 center for years, and now we are already talking of converting the only big center prospect into a winger.... |

Plekanec, Gionta, Bourque, Desharnais, Pacioretty, Cole, Moen, Gomez, Eller, Armstrong, Prust, White, Nokeleinan, Leblanc......are those your forwards?
Markov, Emelin, Gorges, Subban, kaberle, Bouillon, Weber, Diaz
Those are your D?
So you say 1 change......that's an easy bet to take.
Obviously these guys put us at 24 man roster so 1 already is gone. So you say 1 of these plus 1 more? |

Zero NHL data and barely any junior data on Galchenyuk makes it hard to gauge such things as "best faceoff man". One thing's for sure though, Eller gotta become better at it. |

He needs a year in junior to retrain his knee. You send him into the corners on the wing in the NHL and his knee is torn up before you can say Markov. |

Makes sense. Draft the big, franchise centre the team lacks, and then move him to the wing. |

Eller is a bigger center than Galchenyuk.
Galchenyuk isnt a pure center, he plays all positions.
Eller plays center well at the NHL level but is a poopty winger.
Galchenyuk isnt even at the NHL level yet.
Still, lets take the guy with 0 NHL experience, put him at center and shove the guy who cant play as a winger to the wing. Because (frank) logic, that's why.
/facepalm
You guys are so (frank)ing obviously not-dumb that it baffles me completely. |

No questions on that he needs more seasoning. Ranch seasoning is best. |

I hope they don't rush this kid and send him back to JR.
Our organization is not in a place yet to rush an 18 year old. |

Agreed.
As for your earlier question, yes, i believe those will be our d-mens. One of Weber or Diaz will be sent down/traded. The forwards group is already overcrowded and the only spot to be had is on the 2nd trio's wing hence my "only 1 change" statement. |
