hey, that's what I said in last post... why doesnt anyone think that kane isnt a better center than most of the realistic options? Especially, if Kane plays center..we could have a much more plausible shot at acquiring doan/nash/semin.

Well.... I'm not willing to say Kane can't be a good center.

What I am willing to say is probably no chance of getting Nash unless Kane is in the deal.

Also unlikely any real interest here on Semin.

Doan...There will be interest but don't know if he has other cities he prefers, like somewhere in Canada.

Wish that would work out. Av's have 7 d-men under contract already, but do need forwards...

As much as I'd like to see us fill the 2C hole, I'd love to see Pacioretty instead of Plekanec...

I thought Kane played well at C this season. Throw Hoss and Doan (I wish - more like Carbomb) on his wing. I believe he was a sub-40% in the circle which isn't that bad at all and we all know he can pass better than 99% of the league.

There are better centers Doan can play with.

WOuld not hate watching that line up for 82+ games. I think you move Hammer to Boston and get Boychuck for our second pairing with Oduya. Boychuck is bad dude. He fights hits like a train and isnt a bank breaker.

Why? That leaves Boston with even less cap room. I know they don't have much to begin with, but come on.

I was just mentioning examples of ACTUAL top wingers and how they are more readily available than an ACTUAL center-of which even the inconsistent ones get paid a ton nowadays..
