Spent the day at the shooting range. I am actually mellow now. No more over the lack of signings/movement. Actually having fun with this for now.

I wouldn't think so because sticking Kane at center sort of handcuffs the team. If Kane is the arguably the best passer along the perimeter, how effective is the team if you don't use that asset? So yes, I would think Plekanec is a better option up the middle.

With a new management team, anything can happen. What if Bergy wants Kane to play Center? Maybe he was in the camp here in Chicago that thought Kane should be playing centre (for my Canadian fans).

so kane for 3 more years at 6.3, plekanec for 4 more years at 5 mil. kane becomes a centre and plays with gionta and fill in the blank? i can't see it happening. and giving up subban? that would come back and haunt the canadiens. if there's a deal to be made to acquire hjalmarrson without trading subban, i'd rather bergevin pursue that.

I don't think it's so much the Coyotes holding things up as it is the City of Glendale and the Goldwater Institute.
