I would offer two years right now. He will be a stud playing in Pittsburgh will all that talent. - stveshdy
As opposed to playing with Backstrom and Ovechkin? |
|
|
|
I just hope Semin and Doan sign today so there can maybe be some movement on the trade front. |

He'd likely play on Crosby's wing. |

I personally think Malkin and Neal are better. I think Ovechkin is the most overrated player in the NHL. Backstrom is a stud, I like him a lot (he missed almost half the season). |

Doubtful. I will be surprised if Homer makes no more moves before the season starts. |

I guess when you look at the market and compare him to players with that production he falls right in line. |

Voracek worries me. Hes so young and yet is going to command big money. I'm just really unsure on what is a fair price for him. |

Yea, playing next to Stamkos and collecting assists.
I like Purcell, and don't think the contract is outrageous, but I wouldn't have given him that money.
If he gets $4.5 mill, then what is Hartnell going to demand? |

Its about what I expected. I would have been more surprised if it was lower than if it were higher. |

I think he gets another 1 year deal at 3.75 and tries to cash in next off season. |

Thing is every time a contract comes up a player wants a raise. Thats a significant raise for Jake from last year if he gets 3.75M. |
