Doan is waiting because there's some clause of some sort in the petition bylaw that says the petitioners have 30 days to respond (gather signatures) from June 16 so they are appealing. That would make Monday the date if the appeal goes through. - djd
It wouldn't suprise me if Bettman had as part of the sale of the franchise that Doan must stay with the club. All this delay is Doan trying to get out of that clause.
I hate Bettman. I do not trust anything about him. |

Correct those two goals and I think they win the series. Goalies also have to be the most important penalty killer (Smith). Fair points I think we can agree to disagree. - rollpards19
No dounbt Crawford allowing those 2 OT goals was huge and brutal...But before I can hang the blame solely on him my comclusion would have to be the Hawks would have won both those games in OT.
From what I watched throughout the series I couldn't say that with any confidence.

Didn't Igor Makarov also tear it up at the prospect camp? Where is he again? Lets wait till we see him against the big boys. |

So let me guess last 10 pages or so.... Bowman sucks, Rocky needs to clean house, the Hawks have no hope, Bowman sucks, the Crawford debate, the trade Kane debate, Bowman Sucks, Bowman Sucks, and why have the Hawks not made any moves..
About right? |

Gotta admit that Zyuzin made MAgnus Johansson look like a regular Michal Barinka... |

And so it begins. He can only succeed where he is. You cant dismiss his achievements simply because hes not in the Big Leagues yet. He may not ever be on the Hawks, but that doesn't mean you can't say right now hes doing well. One step at a time. |

It would have been a battle and who knows. too add to the previous reasons, the Hawks did not have their best as Toews was recovering and not at his best, coaching stunk and Shaw's suspension didn't help (should have been only 1 game). Plus Smith was playing very well. Tough to beat a goalie with perimeter shots, u really have to bang the net (which didn't happen too often). |

I almost enjoyed having Andrei on the Hawks as much as I loved having Pavel Vorobiev and Mikhail Yakubov wear a Blackhawks sweater |

You are correct but he is a first round pick and should be dominant or at the very least noticeble against this type of competition. |

Do you want the guy or not....if hr leaves Phoenix someone will go bold and land him why not us ....its not a mater of if he gets that kind of money ....but who will give it to him...Doan is no old and slow Bruno the guy is built like a brick sh!t house
And can get it done I for one think barring a phucked up injury (but that can happen with anyone ) he will be doing fine in 3-4 years. - southernhawk
I am on the wagon to get Doan. Having been a fan for so long i remember the excitement over signing Campbell and the boards flooded with how he was a waste of cap space while he was here, then gets traded and is a savior that never should have left. |

I love Tallon and think he did a ton to bring this city a cup, but I dont understand what you are saying here. His big move in Florida this offseason has been George Parros. WOW REALLY George Parros (the stache).
In Chicago his big splashes were Campbell, which was pretty much universally despised as an overpay and (female dog'ed) about constantly and Huet which was simply a brutal overpay.
What Tallon was good at was building through the draft and being patient with your team. Something sorely lacking on this board at times. |
