There is still a lot left in that one. We don´t know all the targets, you can´t blame Bowman for players choosing other teams and better year from Kane, Keith, Crawford and healthy Carcillo and Montador could make better result. Maybe I´m too optimistic but I do like the prospect pool we have. Maybe the missing pieces could develop from there and make this team contender for many years to come? I bet is easier to be gm in EA sports game than one for real NHL team. - MjulQvist
Have another cup of kool aid
McD could not have written a better script than that.

Stray thought: Detroit needs D. Hjalmarsson and Bowman for Holland. |

Im pretty sure this was a Bowman move. We've discussed this numerous times on this site and most including the writers come to the same conclusion.
July 9th Hossa was signed and July 14th Tallon was demoted. Although technically Tallon was the GM; it was in title only as he lost his job a couple days later. - mvp0207
My fault I never really knew the backstory, just knew that Tallon was still the GM when he was signed |

Nieuwendyk is starting a retirement community down in Dallas. I'm sure he'd rather have Montador instead.

This from TSN.
If Rick Nash makes his way out of Columbus this summer, it likely won't be to a Canadian NHL team. The Columbus Dispatch reports that there are six teams he would be willing to be traded to - the Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins and San Jose Sharks.
Put Nash to Chicago to rest. |

Do they even make Kool-Aid anymore and why Kool-Aid I always hated the crap especially as an adult. It was make more sense if you said drinking the Coke or even better drinking the ice cold Scotch and Water. |

Didn't Igor Makarov also tear it up at the prospect camp? Where is he again? Lets wait till we see him against the big boys. - Beaver-Warrior
Makarov was comparably a couple years older. Teravainen is young. Kid is a find. Hawks were very lucky to get him where they did.

I sincerely hope someone beats the living f(u)cking daylights out of this b@stard one day that it not only ends his career, but disfigures him for life. The SOB won't learn until then. Witness, the hit on Hoss. |

Saw this yesterday. Personally I was pretty sure Nash was never coming here. |
