But he currently plays with Perry and Ryan who are better than Vanek and Pomminville and they still couldn't make the playoffs. One good line doesn't make you into a winning team.

He's just who I want though.

I have mixed thoughts about Stastny. I'm not crazy about the idea but not dead set against it either. I guess it would depend on who we are giving up.

I think I would just assume go w/ the centers we have. I think I'm only interested in trading if we get a true #1 back. Maybe just try to sign Getz next summer

What kind of nonsense is that? How can you get a number 1 center for Pysk and some AHL bums?

One year Calgary thought they had amazing goalie prospects with Kidd, Trevalov and some other guy, stories about them in hockey news every week. None of them panned out, 3 bums. I'm sick of hearing about propspects, Darcy waited 8 years for Kalinin before he finally figured out he stunk.

I think if they sit tight and hoping that they will get Getz next summer is pretty risky. Getz could get extended by Anaheim, ya never know. I'm honestly 50/50 on Stastny. I would prefer Getz or Pavelski.

yea i figured that would be the response. i think stepan's ceiling is being a great 2nd line center but some people swear that he has 1st line potential and is the next brad richards.

time will tell i suppose.
