Boston won a cup with 3 number 2 centers. To win a cup you need scoring from 3 lines and from defense and that scoring is better off if they play a gritty two way game. Number 1 center doesn't mean crap unless you have scoring behind him. Unless we are talking Malkin as new center then might as well pass, Getzlaf not sure if we have chance to sign him when UFA. No one wants to play here.

the biggest problem I have seen since the briere/drury days is inconsistent play from the wingers on the top 6

more importantly lack of scoring

we female dog about the center play, and to be honest, the top 2 lines was not bad over the past 4 years of production from those centers

The wingers scoring in the playoffs was brutal in the flyers and bruins series
