I dont see a point in giving up so much assets for getzlaf when hes going to be a free agent and if he doesnt wanna stay in anahiem, thats when burke will have his chance to get him and possibly even perry. We have no proven facts he wants to be in toronto yet alone will resign in toronto. Add to the fact that we are trying JVR at center and we have kadri coming up in the mix as well and we are in a very good position with our 1st Rounder 2013. I still believe anahiem keeps getz and perry. Bobby ryan i can see burke pursuing along with LUU

That's why Getz and Perry's agents are likely pushing for a massive extensions before the CBA expires. That said, it has also been rumored that both sides would seriously consider extending the current CBA by one year instead of a lockout.
