The problem is just that we are hoping for too much. We are hoping JVR or KAdri can fill the #1 spot. If not, we get good, but not excellent 1st line production.

We hope that out of Grabo, JVR, Kadri, Frattin, Kuli, and Mac we can form a good second line.

We are hoping that Phaneuf plays up to his potential.

We are hoping Liles recovers from the concussion

We are hoping Gardiner doesn't enter his sophomore slump.

We are hoping that Holzer can fill in for Schenn or Komi can at least do something productive.

And lastly we are hoping that one of Scrivens or Reimer can fill that #1 slot.

Too many things to hope for. Something has to give
