I don't mind Diaz and I don't think Weber is as bad as many think I just think they're both soft and similar and you can afford on on your bottom pairing but not both at the same time. - dt99999
are we really paying $2.5 million to Brandon Prust? |

Meh, I thought 4.25M for Cole was retarded last year and was proven wrong. Overpaying for a need is frequent on July 1st, let's wait and see. |

It's an overpayment for something I believe we really needed. |

yeah.
To be honest, I barely noticed that guy when he played with the Rangers, and I kind of question what kind of impact he can really have on this team...bottom six certainly is meaner with White, Moen and him there though, provided that Moen stays there and doesn't spend time on the top 2 lines (please God). I don't count Cheezy Armpits in there because he's a cheapshot artist and a wussy. |

It's one thing not to be able to develop homegrown superstars, you need to draft and nurse those guys but you'd think that's the kind of player most teams would be able to develop internally... |

I never thought 4.25M was too much for Cole before the season. Term was an issue.. but 4.5M wasn't
Prust at 2,5M sounds expensive... but then again.. I wouldn't want to be the lone tough guy on this smurf team.... |

i dunno. you can't develop that ornery-ness that we're missing. look at Moen. perfect 4th-liner in terms of ability and his strengths. but he's too happy. |

you can't make players mean but you can look for it in a later round pick. |

Apparently Thrower is one mean mother(frank)er... we'll see.
Edit: and seriously, when your name is Dalton Thrower, do you have the choice anyway? Sounds like a UFC name. |
