Phils need Pence, but I wold trade him if you got enough to back to help gain an average RF and then use Pence's $$$ to sign Bourne so you could have a legit lead off hitter.

Hamels has to be retained. if not you need Olt and 1 or 2 middling prospects. Olt would take over 3rd next year. He's a very good fielding RH power bat at 3b. Phils need a power bat at 3B with Chase declining at 2b. I'd take profar as well, but Rangers won't part with him.

If Green got 6+ million, and Suter got an outrageous 13 yr 98 million dollar contract, anyone want to venture a guess at what Weber's contract will look like?

Have to think in the 13 yr 117 million dollar range. Which would be a bargain, compared to Suter's deal.

Cortizone is fantastic for short term relief for about 1/3 of the people who get the shots. 1/3 of that 1/3 see sustained relief at 1 year plus.

Long term, it pretty much exacerbates the issue.

I have a tear in my wrist. have had it for about 6 yrs now. over the last 3-4 it has gotten worse but a shot gives me about 1 yr of occasional pain. I know I am facing surgery at some point but just don't want to do it now while I still play

That is its exact intended purpose.. to by time. Honestly though... getting your wrist fixed and rehabbing properly, you could likely go back to playing in due time. Likely have decreased strength, but better than constant pain!
