This. His team finally wins a cup and feels it's appropriate to jump on his soapbox. Pretty sure if things played out differently for his team in June, he wouldn't spewing that garbage. I know we haven't made any significant signings, but we don't need names to be competitive.

LA will be a middle of the pack team next year, just like they were this year....The are deserving champs but lets face it, they are no dynasty in the making.

Here are some facts:

1. Buffalo did not make the playoffs in 2011-12 despite adding Leino and Ehrhoff

2. Free agents Buffalo has added in the 2012 offseason - John Scott, Kevin Porter, Mark Mancari

3. Players lost to free agency - Brad Boyes

Questions to think about:

1. Has Buffalo improved their team during the offseason?

2. Has teams that finished below Buffalo in the standings improved their rosters?

Scott will be your 13th forward. The other 2 will probably wind up in Rochester.

So why would Doan want to sign in Buffalo? Buffalo has an uphill climb just to get into the playoffs in 12-13. I would think Doan would want to sign with a Stanley Cup contender imo.

Nash and Luong are getting antze.....their teams want to get something done.

San jose has been very quiet......Buffalo has dealt with Wilson before....something may be brewing at that end.
