Someone has to take the faceoffs...that is why a Jay McClement type or D. Moore or Cullen even makes sense.....they tried Vanek on the PK and he did not last too long.

Kaleta and Leino?

I would not be worried if we had a center on the ice or not for pk, it's all about chemistry and our wingers are good enough on the dot for those situations

Idk I just was wondering why he would want to come back after we let him go. We brought in a player from the devils a while back ( can't remember his name) and after the season he went back to the devils. He stated that he didn't know his role on the team and that's why he left (I think it was zubrius).

Is there anything you've heard personally though that suggests it is us?

3rd shift is nice if you have no life . Able to do thing during the day that most people unless your retired get to do. But if ya had a social life before the change . you will lose it real quik.

Good choice I went through 3-30 packs since friday night . Kicked everyone out at 3am from the bar

plus I can drink til 11 on a week night and function at 6 am, so life will be great when I make the switch

Don Cherry has said many times teams who need PK help at center should look at Michael Zigomannus (SP)....a good faceoff man, PK specialist that can help eat those minutes so that your top guys (like Pominville and Leino) don't waste time on the PK......just saying, can't have enough centers....just like I said the Blue Jays could not have enough pitchers.....now they have like 6 on the DL list.
