1. Has Buffalo improved their team during the offseason?

2. Has teams that finished below Buffalo in the standings improved their rosters?

Scott will be your 13th forward. The other 2 will probably wind up in Rochester.

So why would Doan want to sign in Buffalo? Buffalo has an uphill climb just to get into the playoffs in 12-13. I would think Doan would want to sign with a Stanley Cup contender imo.

1.) Ott for Roy
2.) Foligno and Hodgson should improve on solid rookie campaigns
3.) Last year Buffalo had several key injuries
4.) The Sabres were the 2nd best team in the east after the All Star Break
