I think Doan is the exact player every team needs. Just hope he doesnt go to Pittsburgh. 1 more early exit (not conference final) and they may start playing in a building that's less than capacity.

The rumour most repeated seems to be Leopold for Cullen and a pick or pick switch;
The variations include Brennan for Cullen straight up;
or Leopold for Brodziak....which seems to fit with Reiger's approach to trading...add players to your roster with some term left on good contracts.

I heard that we did......Minnesota needs to get some defensemen, so moving out a couple of guys like Cullen, Brodziak, Bouchard, even Clutterbuck may be in order....not sure that Cullen is good enough for what we need.

I would do Brodziak for Gerbe and Brennan or Matt Ellis and Leopold;
Not sure that I would trade Leopold...I would rather try and extend him for a couple of more years.
