It does seem to be dragging on and on.

Feels like people have been snappier than usual. Less tolerant of certain things, specifically a blanket negative attitude about anything and everything the team does.

This forum is pretty low key compared to others I frequent tho (not hockey related).

Things seem to stay pretty civil most of the time, or maybe I just don't notice. I tend to gloss over larger and larger parts of the more recent threads

I'm not sure how many times I have to say, I like him as a player, but that I don't think he's the RIGHT player that we need right now. For some reason, it's a difficult concept.

Good analogy. Didn't think of that, though you're absolutely right. I like Pominville, but we certainly don't need 2 of them.

I'm familiar with the feeling. Lately seems like quite a few have trouble with the concept of an "opinion".

I know you differ but both are poopty leaders.

Some of the newer posters have a harder time discussing something without calling names, making personal attacks and whatnot. It's the condescending tone they get. People are going to have disagreements. DD and I have them all the time. Yet somehow we coexist on the board without any confrontations. It's just a matter of respect and allowing other people to have opinions while still expressing your own.

3.5M for a 36 year old center who is small and has never scored more than 50 points in his career and whose stats have gone done each of the last 3 seasons i think...

Leo was our top minutes eater and maybe our best full season d-man last year. Ehrhoff was best in his spurts, Regehr played the toughest minutes,

Both are in the final year of their contracts.....and Cullen would fill in a huge hole at 3rd line center and relive some of the logjam that D we have.

He would also be a good "fill in" until Grigs and Girgs are ready

that is a respectable thing to want.. and I understand the need for a 3C and a guy who has a ring on the team as well.. His stats are very nice for a 3C.

its just his 3.5M that scares me some... only 1 year isn't so bad though.
