That honestly would be an interesting line, but it could work. Pommer takes faceoffs as well sometimes and plays well defensively. Essentially you don't have anyone who's a legit center on the line, but yet somehow, it almost seems like it would work.

You're probably right, but Briere is getting close to the end of his career, so that seems like a pretty steep price in general. Management is really high on Brennan here, so I don't think they'd give him up that easily anyway. Especially since they've said they're moving the team in a younger direction.
