But I have lurked these boards for a bit now before I finally joined and repectfully, you come off sometimes like you think are MR Know it all , simply put.

By no means am I flaming and I apologize if you think I am but unless you have inside information which I know you dont , Doan coming coming here is just AS possible if Phoenix does not come through for him as you saying he is not.

I don't see how. If there is any player I can see having more integrity than greed, it's Shane Doan. So if he's leaving Phoenix, I doubt he's coming here because all we have to offer is $$$.

I honestly think our offer to Doan is a very competitive offer but I do think he'll remain in PHX, then if we don't land Doan I think we'll see a small move like a Leo for Cullen type deal like Homer said.

Pronger had a broken hadn at the time if i remember correctly. Not exactly making him his female dog. Pronger would kick Myers arse up and down the ice 5x over.

I dont need Myers to be nasty. I need him to be on the ice and be are best sound defensemen scoring goals and getting assists. I am so sick of the Chara comparisons. Because they are the same size they have to be the same player?

Myers will never be Chara, and frankly I'm ok with it.

Much like another recently moved on Phoenix sports hero in the twilight of his career (Steve Nash), he'll end on a team in close proximity to his family. (IE San Jose or LA)

the money is the only way he's coming out east to play. especially for the sabres.

i know the other big market teams will have offers for him (NYR, PIT, PHI) but the money will be the reason (along with maybe a good pep talk from teppo )

We would have to blow him away with the money to get him to come here. PLus every last contract incentive you can think of. Because if he leaves Phoenix I think it's for a legit cup contender. We are not that so the money and team situation would have to be impressive.

i would guess girgensons will be a good fit in that role. playing with ott and leino? ott takes the face then moves to the wing. that'd be a solid 3rd line, high energy, skill and grit.

From where I sat the other night at the scrimmage.

Girgensons will have more games and minutes this very season with the Sabres than Grigorenko.

Book it.

I like the idea of him with Ott and Leino . Very nice idea.
