Sadly, that is the way it is in the industry... has been forever. Now that we have the internet so readily available, YouTube at our fingertips, and all these other goodies that represent the fact we are in 2012... can you believe the talent we have witnessed in recent years? Imagine how the music industry would look like if the talents out there that should be in, were, regardless of the hooky-ness? Amazing, I'd think.
