I find it funny that some of them talk about CKAC closing and that a french sport radio failed because it probably didn't bring enough revenues, but none of them has thought that maybe they are closing TSN990 for the exact same reason.

actually I don't think anyone think it's the french's fault but many are questioning why the need for a francophone station needs to be achieved via the elimination of an anglophone one.

also the reason for the closing has been directly specified by all the parties involved as being due to a CRTC rule.




the whole rule seems kind of silly to me. It's not like one owner is cornering the market on a specific type of content.
