guy from mlb network was on the radio today and said he thinks the strasburg shutdown is happening and that scott boras initiated it because he doesn't want strasburg getting hurt so he can leave in 3 years as a 200M dollar player.

Why would he leave a good team? I don't buy that at all. The Lerners will pay him whatever he wants and if they are winning he will stay.
As for Boras initiating it, they did the same exact thing with Zimmermann and it looks like it worked quite well.
