well where else could you drop the car and not guarentee it getting stolen. ONe time I left my keep in my car door went and played hockey came back 2 hours later key and car untouched

or when there is a checkpoint on the next block you turn left onto your street and they come rushing to pull you over in your driveway when your coming home from work and treat you like your the guy who just killed someone...no boss im just a guy working their way though college

Been there done that. I was working at a grocey store Labor day weekend. They had a check point about 200 yds from where my street was. Turned down my street. 2 cars came flying after me. I get out in my work attire and i got harresed like you would not believe.

Actually, the majority of people around here know. It's just the newer people that don't.

If you take an action to evade a checkpoint, it is considered probable cause. It you have nothing to hide, then why not just go through? Again if you are enticed to commit a crime its entrapment. Turning away only gives the cops the impression you have something to hide. Once you give probable cause you open yourself up to more intense search. Again the act of turning around is not being enticed it's made of free choice

If I need to get somewhere, I'm not waiting in line when another route will get me there quicker (without speeding). That's not hiding anything. It's not probable cause. It's an assumption based on nothing. I have a right to make a U-Turn, or turn around in a parking lot, or go down a side road to get around that intersection. As long as I'm not doing anything illegal in the process, my right to do that doesn't go away simply because a policeman is there so that the local government can implement a possible cash-grab.

Well I probably didnt help the situation because I was already miserable I had to work and my friends were all out drinking and I was not. So I was a little up front and blunt. Cops did not like that. Not sure why. . .
