because the city of buffalo school system sucks top to bottom kids dont care in the vast majority if the school has 3k kids maybe 100 care

in Milwaukee.. I went to a HS with 3K students and the white kids were the minorities...

We got told to go back to England instead of the vice versa with Latin and African Americans.

Do you drive a car, ever taken a plane anywhere?

If your answer to any of these questions is yes, then there you go. Education allows people to do things like keep planes in the air, cars running, computers working, electricity flowing... it's worth the pittance you personally spend subsidizing public schools to create a workforce capable of doing the things a society requires to function.

I went to a show there a few years back. It was everywhere... as a person who hate the smell of that crap, it as really annoying... as you said.. OPD/UCF PD did nuttin.

I personally think private HS are a waste of money that could be saved for college.
I go to public and I'm not missing anything. Its a better experience too. Do you really want to go to an all boys school?

not all private schools are all boy or all girl.. and for some people going to a private school provides a better future than going to their public school

Sorry as a female and a teacher I agree. I spend more time with these kids then the parents do...we don't get a ton of support from the parent side....we never get support from the administration....and for the state....every 2-3 years they implement some new program and have yet to figure out if the last 5 programs worked or not...sorry ill go back to lurking now

not sure how charter schools in WNY but in Indiana they are generally worse than the public schools.. i don't get how they are still around
