very comparable to my taxes.. not sure on the cost of living but i think it is cheaper in this area.. the only thing is that Nash has me whooped in the things to do category - SabresFaninIndiana
That's the best part, IMO. The extra money is worth it to me if there is a poop ton of things to do.

Really friendly... It's a great atmosphere in the arena and the stadium.
They have very few rinks as you can imagine, but they do have two really nice ones within 20 miles. One in Nashville, one in Franklin. - jochfr

Fort Wayne isn't bad.. they have a crappy baseball team an ECHL hockey team and get quite a few concerts.. but there is no night life it isn't for an event.. Chicago and Columbus are 3 hours away and Indy is 2, that is where you have to go for a "night life"... but me being married with kids that doesn't matter anymore

not so sure that Kokomo Indiana is any better.. it is a "city" that had a population based upon a chrysler plant... the plant shut down during the recession.. it may have since opened back up but i am not sure
