How about 24 goalies, and 1 center?

- Powerslave

If you like that style of hockey sure im up for it

If we had all centers we could pull the goalie and play with 6 on teh ice at all times

EVER?

In the history of mankind?

Not 100% true

Drew Stafford also said he never would have made it to the NHL without Lindy.

Miller said he wouldn't be the player he is without the coach either (EVERYONE KEEP THEIR MILLER JOKES TO THEMSELVES!!!
)

sabres89 disagrees that Lindy is the most negative person alive

I think there are coaches that are harder on their players than Lindy, and vice versa.

I can't stand (I mean, I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT STAND) my boss, but I need my job, and my pride prevents me from just mailing it in day in and day out. Ultimately, it's up to the player.

as one gets older, they reflect

the boss that I thought was the biggest ass I had ever known, turned out to be the best boss I ever had, from a business standpoint

too bad he did not have people skills

ps start your own business

that's precisely why I can't stand him. He has zero people skills. 2 years ago my son broke his foot skateboarding. I left work in the middle of the day to take care of the situation. To this day, he has never asked me how my son was doing.

two weeks ago I broke my foot. I missed a day (ONE DAY!) of work. He was pissed at me for a week, and still has not asked me how my foot is.

Cannot stand him, and wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.

and unless he has a miraculous turnaround from last season, this will be his last in Buffalo.

Love him to death, but he has played ALOT of physical hockey

- Powerslave

Totally agree. At the time we got him, it was like WOW we actually persued and landed someone I've heard of. Same with Boyes. Remember Nolat Pratt and who was that other no name foward we grabbed that year? I cant even find him on the internet, thats how off the charts thid guy was.

The reality thought with Regehr is he is past his prime and not playing a ton of impact hockey. He still has a place in this league, but I think the Sabres got jumpy when Terry opened the checkbook and didn't think things out too well. Same again with Brad boyes. Compared to Golisano era moves, those were parade worthy. Looking back, those two moves I think really weighed down a team looking to move foward.

Pratt was an excellent #6-7 guy. Played a physical game, fought, rarely made mistakes.

He was at the end of his rope. He did nothing after he left Buffalo.

If we still had offseasons like that after regular seasons like this one, we wouldn't be here. Tumbleweeds would blow across Perry street come October.

A)seeing lots of ppl losing their minds over lines like this in 2013-2014
van hodge pom
foligno ennis staff
ott grigor gerbe
leino grir armia

did we not learn from the past that we have to get tough? you dont have finese players on the 4th line...like ever hah

also...howd the presser go? I heard on wgr on the way home a snippet and darcy didnt say anything about roy but from the sounds of it its a done deal

saw him at the scrimmage absolutely loved the kid. he just needs a diet of snickers bars and timbits and he'll be fine
