You are a real dude Homie. Hey I've got a Mike Grier 40th jersey. I went to the arena the saturday they started selling them and didnt buy one. Then I litterally last sleep thinking about someone else getting that Mike Grier jersey and I went down at 9am to get it.

He was at the end of his rope. He did nothing after he left Buffalo.

Yes Pratt was at the "end of his rope", still doesnt mean he didn't play well. I didn't expect him to be a savior, just a solid #6 guy and he filled that role perfectly IMO.


Would he have been as effective two years later? Highly doubt it, but I liked what he brought to the table for that one year.

He was money and balls to wall when he played here. He wasn't the fastest or most skilled but I really loved Pratt too.

Yeah they pop up on ebay once in a while. I really want to get a red one. Some people absolutley hate that jersey, it makes me laugh.

I answered this in another post just a little bit after that.

There are 2 types of bonuses.

Schedule A -- paid by the team. They include bonuses for reaching certain goals, assists, points, points per game, plus minus, ice time, among a few others.

The maximum under any item a team can pay out is $212,500. For example, they can pay a player $212,500 for reaching 25 goals, or they can pay a player $100,000 for reaching 20 goals and then another $112,500 for reaching 25 goals.

The maximum COMBINED bonus under schedule A cant exceed $850,000. So if the team pays out bonuses for reaching a certain amount of ice time, goals, assists, plus minus and points per game, the maximum total is $850,000.

Schedule B -- player WILL get paid by the league for these bonuses. Also, the team can negotiate their own bonus pay for reaching these bonuses.

There bonuses include placing for trophies and placing in league stats. There is a structured pay schedule outlined in the CBA.

The maximum a team can pay out for reaching any of these bonuses is $2M.

So a player can earn a maximum ELC cap value of:

$925,000 (salary, including the $92,500 SB)
$850,000 (Schedule A bonus max)
$2,000,000 (Schedule B bonus max)

$3,775,000 Cap Hit

From what I've seen out of Buffalo from their past players, they hardly ever give bonuses based on the Schedule B. If a player reaches those bonuses, they will be paid by the league.

So Grigorenko earned a max contract according to Buffalo standards -- $1,775,000

Twas amazing. Minus the velociraptor being driven around by a girraffe during the holiday parade

Bars open up at 10 am. They were giving us free drinks because we were from Buffalo. Everyone was respectful. Minus the 4 teenagers who tried starting a fight with us outside of the bar. Bouncers literally picked them up, moved them and invited us in for more free drinks.

The area right outside the arena is a great area. We stayed a 10 min walk away, adn it was fairly priced.

We are thinking of going back every year.

Even if Girgorenko starts the season as number 1 center and gets 20 points in the first 20 games Lindy Ruff will not stand for that, he will complain the rookie made a bad pass and the next thing you know he will be on the 4th line playing 5 minutes per game with Ellis and McCormick. Then Lindy will say "if he wants to get more playing time he needs to get 5 scoring chances per game" LOL, 5 scoring chances playing 3-5 mins per game(what he said about Luke Adam). Then after shell shocking the kid with negative talk Lindy will say in the paper that the kid "has lost his confidence".
