Toronto is to Hockey that NY is to baseball. Its a tough town to play in and you're under a microscope every day and lots of people dont play well in that situation.

I think both teams greatly under performed, I thought last year both teams would make the playoffs but was proven wrong.

The Goal is to win the cup... The Sabres have never won the cup since the franchise started in 70.. And the Maple Leafs have not won a cup since 67... So both arguments are irrelevant...

But The Sabres have been more relevant in the NHL than the Maple Leafs for the last 15 years...

I know we've been here before, but how do you not rail on Lindy. Slow starts, looooong slumps and misusing his goaltenders for 15 years. I was thinking baout it today more than usual. The worst part is they play liights-out hockey the second half for 2 seasons. What about October - New Years?

Also, do we expect Lindy here for 2-3 more years guaranteed? We are building a team to play the 98-99 and 99-00 style. Rough, gritty and no scoring.
