IMO this is actually the best blog Garth has ever written. He gets creative with his language (myopians, Bettman, square dancing). It's better than the crap Kevin's been posting lately. Keep up the good work, Garth.

Have to say I agree with you, I was thinking this while reading the blog. Comes off looking pretty foolish considering not too awfully long ago we were being run by the NHL and praying for our team to be bought and not moved.

The difference is that our owner at the time was a corrupt POS. Not because we didn't have enough fans to support the team. Therein lies the difference.

However, as a fan, even if I'm in the minority, I would be afraid to see my team leave. That has to be one of the worst feelings in the world. I'm glad that the NHL was patient enough to find an owner that kept the team in Buffalo. I'm glad that they've also taken the time to do that in Phoenix as well. Smaller fan base or not.
