Shea Weber is the hidden domino.

If Doan does not pan out and Weber does not sign by August 1, I would not be surprised if Buffalo gives him a long term contract and gives Nashvile a huge package deal for Weber....we can afford to give 3 defensemen and 2 forwards to get Weber and perhaps even a goalie like Enroth.

I doubt it. From the comments he made after Suter left, he had no intention of staying in Nashville long term without his buddy there with him.
