Figured I'd start a thread where we can talk about the prospects and the farm |

P-Bruins win 3-1
Not the most convincing win, but I'll take it. P-Bruins held to just 20 shots in the game.
The powerplay was atrocious.
The goal Svedberg allowed was definitely one he wants back ... Otherwise, he played well. Nothing flashy but good enough to get it done.
Koko played well and although he's not a Bruins' type of player at all, he's fun to watch when he's doing his thing.
Spooner looks like that illness he had really took the wind outta his sail, but he's slowly starting to come back around. A couple of tough giveaway's today though.
Parlett seems like a steady, solid defenseman at the AHL level ...
Warsofsky looked good ... Was flying out there as usual. His speed as a defenseman really stands out at the AHL level.
Florek has Bruins written all over him. He's the type of player that keeps Julien and Cloooooode from being able to sleep on their stomachs at night. Big, "thick", hard-nosed grinder that is versatile and has a touch of offensive upside. He's exactly the type of bottom line talent that the Bruins covet.

P-Bruins win in the shootout.
Warsofsky had a beauty of a goal in down low to tie the game.
Knight got maybe 3 shifts all night ... Really not sure why he is being treated the way he is. Kid has a ton of upside.
Subban is turning into a real good-looking tender at the AHL level ... A real turnaround from the beginning of the season. Kid looks poised and sharp ... I've become more comfortable with him between the pipes than Svedberg. Sveddy's had a rough season.
I'd think long and hard before trading Subban. |

That's a big change but at least you are honest - Toad in Nj
He showed literally nothing the first couple of months he was in Providence. He was a mess. There was nothing to suggest that he would be playing the way he's playing now. Or at least, nothing that I saw ... Honestly, he was one of the worst goaltenders I had ever seen debut at the professional level.
Aside from becoming poised and a lot more technical (no longer relies strictly on his athleticism), he's one of the best goaltenders I've ever seen in the AHL on breakaways and the shootout.
Turnaround story of the year in Providence. |

Griffith has a long way to with his defensive game ... Lacks the coveted "thickness" as well.
Like Koko, he's coming along very nicely, though |

Joe Morrow is now day to day. Could potentially play on Wed. at SWB. When he hurt his knee on Feb. 4 sure looked like he was done for year |

Trotman sure looks like he's ready for an NHL spot as well …
Big framed, shutdown style defenseman who likes to hit and has and a missile of a shot… Has NHL size, skating, and shot.
Where Miller is more along the lines of a Stuart or McQuaid, Trotman is probably more comparable to Boychuk.
He's got Bruin written all over him. |

They're going to have to start moving people out … We are all jammed up at D.
Whether that's Bart or someone else, who knows? I could see Trotman making Boychuk expendable eventually, though. And when McQuaid is up for his next contract (he's a steal right now), I could see Miller making him expendable.
Lots of capable young D in the pipeline … Not a bad problem to have
I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of the D prospects being traded for some higher-end offensive prospects with Bruin-like traits. |

Thinking they need to get some depth on the wings. C/D/G look decent, not super elite talent, but decent. Not much on either wing though other than potential muckers. |
