Not our fault Duchene is left in the background, Sacco refuses to give him a line!
#1 Line giving both of them major love...
Landeskog - Duchene - P.A. - Fols19
That has serious potential. Given past results, it might be 50 points for Landeskog, 80 for Duchene and 50-60 for Parenteau, depending on chemistry. Could be lethal since all three bring something different.
Hejduk with O'Reilly and Downie, Stastny with McGinn and Jones. Three good lines there. If Varlamov can be consistent and the Defense can be solid, that's a solid team.

Agreed. Though I think you're being very cautious about Landeskog's point potential next year.

Gonna be interesting trying to find time and room for all those top-6 centers you buggers have. I'd think it would be a less talented Pens style, but O'Reilly is really showing his stuff.

Now if they can get some coaching... that's the last piece right? Maybe Quinn will be our bylsma...

You need a tough no nonsense bumhole who pisses off the best players, gets fired for a young fresh face and lets them do their thing if you want the cup,

Yes Duchene has work left to do to become the player the Avs fans hope he can be but the reports of the how much work.
Duchene will be fine, I don't understand the negativity surrounding him. Elite talent!
Really not sure about the Landeskog captaincy though. I know he's ridic good, and a natural leader, but it seems stupid to name an 18 year old captain.... Although, I remember 2 other top 2 picks being named captain after 1 season, and leading their respective teams to the Cup a couple years later. So we have Toews, Crosby, and Stevie Y was also very young when named captain. BIG shoes to fill, that's all I'm saying.

**Past results not indicative of the future** BUT lets look at some of the youngest captains to ever be named captains (all teens or early 20's when named captain) Crosby (cup), Yzerman (cups), Sakic (cups), Lecavalier (cup), Brown (Cup), Toews (cup).. Something tells me there is something else rather than your birth-date that makes you a leader and a great captain!

Thank you for pulling that quote. It just showed me that somehow a line "is encouraging" got taken out. Good to know. Would like to know how but good. to. know.
