i'd really like to get a comparable on Jaskin. When he was drafted I heard a more physical Hejduk or a less skilled Jagr, those still apply? |

Less skilled, more physical Jagr works for me. |

Not on a Ken Hitchcock team. Hitchcock likes putting his top line against opponent top lines, so Tarasenko will have to spend some time proving himself defensively before he gets there. He still might get 18-20 minutes a night and some PP time though. Really depends on if Stewart bounces back this year or not. |

Couple things I find surprising.
Ian Cole not even their top 10 prospects? Or does 25ish games mean not a prospect in your mind, as opposed to Schwartz's 7 games still is?
Schwartz under Rattie. Most places I have seen list Schwartz as the superior prospect. He sure looked solid offensively in his games with the Blues last year, but needed to work on his game in the other 2/3rds of the rink still. Blues heir apparent to McDonald.
Tarasenko being compared to Radulov. I get they are both Russians who did well in the KHL... but how do you write about Tarasenko's strong work ethic, talk about him possibly killing penalties, then compare him to Radulov? |

Ian Cole -- comes in over 50 NHL games, so he's not included.
Schwartz -- can honestly say I'm not a huge fan of his game. He shows a lot of skill, but I wonder how much he actually knows how to use it, especially in tighter checking games. He tends to get pushed to the perimeter very easily and his effectiveness drops. In saying that... I'm a huge Rattie fan.
Tarasenko -- more based on game play rather than off-ice stuff.

Cool, thanks for the response. Forgot Cole had that many games already. The Blues lack of prospect depth defensively is a little worrisome, but presuming you are correct in being a little less enthusiastic about Schwartz, as long as 2 of their top 3 prospects pan out, they seem to be pretty well set up front, looking at who they have in the pipeline and who they might lose anytime soon. |

Radulov kills penalties in the K as does Tarasenko. The difference is that Radulov is a petulant child who is fueled by emotion, while Tarasenko is cold and calculating. |

So Radulov is like a angry rage killer, where as Tarasenko is more of a serial killer. |

You should have seen Barkov in the two season openers, got to catch them on satellite. Holy (frank). Best Fin since Teemu or Jokinen (I know lol but he did put up 91 points). 3 goals already. |

Ty Rattie is sick and I'd love him on my team, but I think Tarasenko really has potential to be a really dominating player. |
