I just went through every NHL expansion team head coach..... but it doesnt say he stated his Head Coaching career with the expansion team


So we could be looking for a career Minor League coach who was drafted and played one game in the NHL and was an assistant for a brief time. Yikes

Don't think he was drafted into the NHL either. Think Detroit bought his AHL contract...

50 drafts to scour over?!?!? After narrowing down head/assistant coaches of the 20 expansion teams since '67? One head + two assistants per team x 20 expansion teams = 60 individuals - probably a quarter to a third of whom were non-drafted NHL players because they played pre draft = 40-45 guys max.

Scouring 50 yrs is way too many!
