(1) I don't have to read writers/bloggers talking about all of the players who allegedly packed on fifteen pounds of muscle in the off-season. |

Well played sir! Well played! I would add not ever having to hear "A deal to be had" as well...

My silver lining is that Zack Kassian will only improve with his time in the AHL. |

Problem is the economics and the players are unrealistic just like schooling these days and this dont fail student policies. It is basically making the players think that they can make a great idea of having teams that actually make money the 10 or so of the 30 to support the teams who cant even give away tickets to boost concession sales. No where in business other than in this idea of the players do they possibly think that the real world which none of them truely live that businesses fail and close shop or move locations or cut staff or cut expenses to make a profit but no competitor would ever complain if their main competitor went under and they got all their business. The owners are to blame for how the way of these salaries went and the players have gotten too cushy in their extravagent lifestyles. Hockey is the laughing joke of all professsional sports and they need to all stop being greedy players and owners alike. The silver lining is cancel another season and watch revenues drop so low they will have to allow buyouts on all contracts to watch the pampered babiess whine. |

First thing - nice write up Shawn.
Wish list... 3 of course
1) eventual relocation of teams - yes welcome back Quebec and welcome to which ever new locations they go
2) tarnishing of Bettmens image with the owners... which will (picture me praying) the owners are looking for pound of flesh after losing millions.. the little man with the giant case or short man's disease is granted sole ownership of the Phoenix frachise... and must leave his post.
3) Leafs get a top three pick who over-achieves. |

Easy. No season means a draft lottery, and when the Flyers get the #2 overall pick, they get Pronger's replacement in Seth Jones.
Plan the parade. |

So the Flyers can have extra time off from winning the cup......Oh wait that was just Flyers players in Kings jersey's |

Kings have a legit chance to win back to back cups, recovered from the hangover ready to go next year..
Oh the 2nd thing I am saving about 9K in season ticket costs, plus another 4K in food and beer costs.. |
