I don't doubt for a moment when they strap the skates on as kids its not for the thought of making money one day but let's be real, once they are good enough to make it to the NHL, it largely is about the money, otherwise players wouldn't jump at the huge offers and leave their current situations. Judging by the sentence structure we can eliminate anyone from an English speaking Country

Tell that "player" most fans really don't care at the moment, both sides need to STFU and get a deal done, we really don't need to hear from them anymore, they're have done a lot of damage with their constant PR positioning, time to shut up and get it done.
