It'll be weird not seeing Campbell in net for the US Team. That being said, seeing him play for Texas has been nice despite his less-than-impressive stat line so far this season.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the team the United States puts on the ice. World Juniors is a great tourney to watch, and the recent successes of the States has made it more enjoyable. Still watch highlights of that gold medal game against Canada a few years back.

Campbell's had a rough few years, but when he puts on the US jersey he really does seem like a completely different goalie.

I like Gibson better than I liked Campbell. Gibson is cool, calm and collected. Campbell is to erratic. He'll make saves that make you say "How did he stop that?" Then in the next breath he'll let in a softie. Last year in the WJC is the perfect examlpe. Granted the whole team played soft.

Was a pretty bad showing overall. Most of the big name players only showed up to pummel Norway then disappeared.

I've seen Sparks a couple of times and, as you said, guy is streaky as hell. Looks like an all-star one game, the next he gives up easy goals. I think he impressed during the US training camp though.

Good post Adam, I agree Gibson should be the guy. For Canada do you think Subban should be the guy for Canada? I think he is right up there with Gibson and could also be said the best goalie in the OHL?? Hard to believe Subban's team was in first place a week ago and the second lowest scoring team in the league, ie that means Subban must be responsible for most of those wins.

There's the full TC I did earlier. Binnington or Suban will likely get the job. I can see Subban winning out, he's got amazing raw talent.

Thanks Adam, I missed that. Awesome report and pretty much very accurate I think as not likely nhl will be playing and that gives Canada a big advantage in my opinion.

Anytime you can add an NHL star (Or at the very least almost a star) like Nuge you're only going to get better

Yak v. Nuge would be fun to see. Would give the media something to drool about.

Awesome post. Refreshing to read because of the constant CBA updates. Just a month away, I can't wait for the tourny to get going!!
