The way the NHLPA has acted I hope the owners lowered the offer to 30% of revenue, no rollback and a dildo to go (frank) themselves with. Then I could maybe afford to bring my family to a Stanley Cup final game again...

unfortunately, this statement is based on the assumption that if they lowered players salaries, they would lower ticket prices. i wouldn't put any money on that scenario.

Indirectly I believe it is. If you own a business, you will always increase your revenue (Ticket prices) to offset your higher expenses (Players salaries). Of course you need a demand on your product, which the NHL has. |
