* Former Flyers player Jody Hull has been promoted from assistant coach to head coach of the struggling Peterborough Petes AHL club, replacing Mike Pelino. The Petes' forward lineup includes Flyers prospect Derek Mathers (3 goals, 9 points, 55 penalty minutes in 35 games played) and 2012 summer prospect camp invitee Chase Hatcher (one goal, four points in 29 games), who is the son of Flyers player development coach and former defenseman Derian Hatcher.

Very cool that one of Roger Neilson's favorite players is now head coach of his (Roger's) former junior team. I picked Peterborough as "my" OHL team to support this year. Here's hoping Coach Hull can change course for the team.

I was real confused at first with the names on the back. They kept calling the Bridgeport players by names that were different then what was on the Jerseys. Until they said that it was a tribute to Newtown.
