Rick dipietro describing this season as " balls to the wall"? Are you (frank)ing kidding me? This guy has balls as big as cantaloupes. What a joke that Garth Snow allows this joke to continue. Constant reminder of just how inept snow and company are.

Maybe related to his injuries... I wonder if he is wearing boxers or tighty whitey's?

The worst thing about this season is we are going to get shelled and not reap the benefits of a first overall probably? With 14 teams having a shot at first overall the odds are against us. Well if we don't get first overall we have to give Garth credit, it's not from a lack of trying on his part.

Saw this on the Toronto blog...maybe the Islanders should think of doing this...

Instead of Toronto packaging two or three young assets to acquire a veteran goalie who is on the downward slope of his career, trading that same package for a young stud like Benn or O’Reilly is a more prudent move that could have a greater long term benefit.

You'll never get anything of quality with those players. Come on man...you know that. You need to trade Reinhardt and/or Strome to get either Benn or Suppan. To get quality you have to give quality...it's a Catch 22...do you keep waiting and be an embarrassment to the league and its remaining fans or do you make a bold move...
