Apparantly he's good in the lockerroom and lockerroom guys are worth $1 mill + even if they don't play. At least that's what I gather from watching the flyers.

Not a must win, but very close to it. I don't want to see them head into the Rangers game at 0-3.. I am already getting made fun of by Leafs fans for God sake!

Defensively we are.lacking as a team. We are shut down easily by teams like the rangers and devils like last years playoffs.

I like luke a hell of alot more than brayden. Brayden does nothing for me.

Lets wait and see how this season settles in and everyone gels before making broad pronouncements about this team.

The team will gel, the only thing that surprises me is the PK. Looks like a chinese fire drill.

I like luke a hell of alot more than brayden. Brayden does nothing for me.

I like Luke as well. Yes, he's taken some stupid penalties.. but people need to realize, he's been stuck in the black hole of Toronto, has only been practicing with the Flyers for a short time, and we're only going 3 games into the season. It takes time to lose old lazy habits and learn the right way of doing things. I guarantee you Lavvy(and probably Pronger) will correct him and help him improve. But if you bother to look at his potential, and abilities, I still think he will be a solid Dman. I would do JvR for Schenn again any day of the week. Watching Toronto's games so far, JvR looks even more lost than he was on the Flyers... which is saying something. Really wish he would have utilized his talent he had deep down.

And on a side note, I actually like what Brayden brings to the table too. He's not afraid to get in deep on the forecheck, he has shown great moments of offensive ability, and the guy hustles his butt off. First liner? Maybe not.. but I like the kid and I think he'll be a solid player throughout his career. I would say he needs to start putting more consistent points on the board though, but I think they'll start coming to him in time.

Yeah, that's definitely not an impressive part of their game right now.. lol

Not only are the penalties they're taking stupid, but when they go on the PK they look completely disorganized.. they clump up, they're out of position, not clearing the puck, etc.

And I'm hoping Hartnell doesn't start reverting to circa '11-'12 penalties. He had a few stupid ones again this weekend. He needs to play with grit, but smart like last season.
