@Peter, considering Mario averaged 2 pts per game against the Jets for his career, maybe they should consider themselves lucky he didn't face them more often  
He did make sure to visit enough to light up Pokey RedRichard back for his 50th of the year back in 89:

Just a little fun. For long time Winnipeggers it is a somewhat oddly sensitive issue so I included it for their benefit.

It's clear Schiefle isn't an NHL player, but my vote would be to keep him up. Let's face it, this team is not going to compete while he is on his entry level deal. So sending him back to preserve a year doens't make sense. You may as well tell him to go play shinny at the local rink since that's what the OHL is for him at this point. Give him a spot on the 3rd line, let him train with and play against men, and bump him up to the top six for some added offense. You can't teach him how to play against men by sending him to dominate 16 yr olds. |

Not a big deal, but after his little Vegas episode showing off his stacks of cash like some juvenile gangsta rapper, I don't think he's impressing anyone by bragging about his new found wealth.
Hope he doesn't have trouble backing up all his off the ice theatrics this season on the ice. He'll end up looking pretty stupid if he ends up having a bad season. |
