Some were previously saying that Boyes seemed to be floating out there in his firt games but my thought was he was trying to adjust to his new team and he is a player who "Thinks The Game" and last night proved it.
I still like Okposo but I would like to see him in the middle or in the slot on the PP second team. He just seems to fade too much along the boards. |

So what happened to the "boring Devils" people were talking about yesterday? Game was wide open last night. Great to see the third line still getting things done. I think that's been critical so far. They almost always get momentum back for the team.
I hope the Isles doesn't let a little media attention go their head. They can win games if they leave it all on the ice (and tighten up on D a bit more). If they start thinking they're better than they are, they'll get in trouble. Loved Nabby's interview saying essentially that last night. In fact, I said right when they cut to him that I like his interviews in general because he keeps things grounded...always talking about having to win next game rather than inflating the meaning of the one they just played. ...but I'll still never chant his name at the Coliseum for the drama fest when the Isles claimed him |

I was one of them . Good game of course would've liked it more if we didn't give the Devs a point but a win is a win and how could you not like the way these guys are playing. |

Okposo had a very solid first period.. I was pleasantly surprised and ready to eat crow. Then he stunk the rest of the game. brutal... Streit still very lazy at times but absolutely LOVE the guy on the PP.
JT is a beast... really love Aucoin and Ulstrom.
Nabby goal 3 he would like back but rest of game was very solid.
Penalty call on Hamonic was a little nuts.
PA 5 goals and 7 points in 7 games in Colorodo is pretty annoying. I was hoping he would stink on another team.. but knew he wouldn't. |

Ok I am back and I have to say I am impressed with this team as a whole so far. Of course I am still awaiting there major meltdown but still impressed. I am so happy I missed DP playing while I was away and in my mind there is no reason to play DP much at all this season. He looks kind of good sitting on the bench. Team is clicking and lets just hope it stays that way.
It was also good to see Capuano get hit in the ehad with a puck. that might actually open up his mind to hockey knowledge |

Im done with Okposo. Amazing. They give him a five year deal and let PAP walk away. Okposo needs to be buried in a bottom six spot. He has to improve his game. His linemates are racking up points like crazy, and he's got s**t to show for skating with them. Its almost press-box time for KO. |

I love the way the isles are playing, but we're only a few games in. Im not gonna be so quick to start saying first place isles. They need to be better with leads still, and play a full 60 minutes. Im loving that line of Cizikas, Ulstrom, Aucoin. Wonder where Bailey fits when he's healthy to return.

Who do they sit down for Vis? Proabably Hickey, but I hope they keep Hickey around. He's been pretty decent. Some promise there. |

I'm enjoying this especially Cizikas, Ulstrom, Aucoin but I'm not getting crazy. Defense and DP as backup are real concerns. |

I'm tempted to say Streit but that's not happening. My guess is it will be Hickey. |
