For who? Coutier ? - Snagglepuss
Laughton, Gustafsson, Cousins, and a 3rd rounder... I think that could do, no? The Jets have Trouba coming, and they're in need of scoring and centers. They clearly are in no threat of a playoff spot now, so this could make some great sense to them. |

I think so, most Flyer fans are not there yet.
But, if Holmgren can find the right piece, he will pay the price to get his man. |

Top pairing d-man and a legit top 6 forward would work for me. Jets have enough O from the D as it is. |

Is it just me or does Buff take a ton of untimely penalties? I think we've got enough of that on our hands.
He's a huge physical presence and skates well for his size, that's for sure. Can even play wing in a pinch, as he's done before. Anybody that can clear the crease would be a huge plus right now though...feels like every goal against the Flyers this year is just garbage in front. |

I'm trying to come up with a theoretical deal that would involve NOT giving up anyone off the roster right now... Just a proposal, nothing in stone. Even upgrade the pick to a 1st, all I know is that any deal involving Couturier is not well-advised... We don't need Laughton AT ALLLLLLL. Cousins is leading the OHL in scoring, and sure has some baggage, but do many people know about Harry Z..? If not, look it up. He got a scholarship to an Ivy League school and his baggae is VERY similar to that of Cousins... The trade may proposal may sound off, but look at it carefuly, it's not as far-fetched as you'd think. |

you dont get a top pairing guy without giving up something off the roster, and if all it takes is coutirier and a prospect/draft pick then its a hell of a deal. |

We probably wouldn't get Bogosian with that package. Two third line players, a number 6 defenseman, and a 3rd? Pretty far-fetched. |

But then what.... Danny back at center...? G and a still young Schenn at center... I don't know. People forget that Couturier was the most highly-touted player from his draft, and his stock fell because of mono... He is a LEGIT gem to have as a second or 3rd center. He's had what I could call an off year, but look at his age... He made the team out of Junior... He's still growing as a player. I'm just saying, I think Buf could be had for future promise, meaning prospects and picks. |
