Agreed, been a long time coming. Important game for both teams, chance to be at or over .500 and in the 8th seed at the halfway point of the season

I don't understand why you guys are not higher in the standings. 60 minutes effort. Skating as hell. Scoring talent.
Well, you surely are Habs killer. |

When we play a physical game we win. They were flying around throwing hits last night. they need to do that on a regular basis. |

Yeah that fourth line can play they are better than the third and or second line. Grabner was looking great last night too. Tavares was in beast mode showing a lot of emotion and that is what this team needs every night |

JT is the real deal. But the team is proving that you do not have to have the highest paid players with big names to play good hockey. The kids just have to do it on a regular basis. |

You and I are on the sane wave length. Said the same thing last night. Hopefully Capuano continues to put him there. I won't hold my breath. Been saying it for a long time martin has much more to offer then we've seen. Tomorrow night would be a great game to put him in front of the net on the pp. |

When our opponents don't play a dedicated defensive system or a physical game, the Isles can play with anyone. While we may manage to flirt with the 8th seed, playoff hockey is all about physicality and defense. That's the biggest hurdle for this team to clear.
The biggest positve I saw last night was the emergence of McDonald/Cizikas/Martin as a physically intimidating line. I also liked the fact that Finley showed a bit of his nasty side again as did Hamonic. When this team plays angry, they compete. This may be where Weight ultimately becomes an improvement over Cappy since he may have the ability to make them come out angry often. |

They can play with any team. The big issues is they are a young team and consistancy is not sold, it is earned, and fought for. |

I think the Isles/Canadiens games have been the most fun to watch so far this season...ups and downs, wide open at times, this one had bodies flying around...gotta say this about the Canadiens...they are very good at making opposing players pay for looking up at the puck when it's floating in the air
