Only got to watch the third but its good to see Looch bury one. Sounds like he had a good game. Confidence can do wonders.

Good game, glad to see that the Leafs really provided a challenge for the Bruins. (frank) shootouts, though

Dont know why kulemin went in...Rask knew he was gonna try and pull off the same move again. Should have been a win. The 2 goals on Reimer were just garbage, on lucic's goal, the puck never even left the ice until the ref picked it up...the back hander from point blank to tie it, gotta have that. 3 points out of 4 against boston in the back to back though, i'll take it!

If you told me we would walk away with two points in these last two games I would have been ecstatic. Getting 3 of 4 is just gravy. Leafs really need those points, and it's nice to see Kadri perform offensively and look dangerous even against one of the TOP defensive teams in the league.

Boston doesn't give teams a lot of time to play with the puck before someone is breathing down their neck, that's why Gardiner struggled a bit with the puck against them, they force you to think quick and for players used to AHL speed hockey it can disorient you and take you out of your game.

You guys still including Kadri in every trade proposal? Looks like he's taken a big step forward.

Clode made a point to say, "He looked good after the first period"

Even though he did go back to the same lines, I love how Claude shortened the bench. Can we end the Jordan Caron experiment please? This kid sucks out loud...useless and a total waste of a roster spot. If they waved him, NO ONE claims him. I'll put 20$ on it. Same for PandolfLOLOLOL...slow and useless. PC needs to swing a deal or at least for now give Spooner and MacD a real audition.

Trying to run Kadri out of town is another example of why the leafs have been so terrible with prospects the past half a century.

20 year old isn't in the NHL yet? Bust. Sucks. Get him out of town. Trade him for a 2nd round pick.

Also, if the rumour going around earlier in the season is correct, and the leafs were offering Kadri and Bozak to Vancouver for Luongo, Gillis should be fired for not taking that deal and running.

FYP

It was fun while it lasted but its time to get rid of the glorified skills competition and loser points.

Great game though. Bruins were a little more dominant in the O zone but it was good it see the Leafs engaging physically with a bigger stronger team.

Would love to see these two meet in the playoffs. It would make the rivalry even stronger.

While the number don't lie, neither does the eyeball test.

Rask was shaky, especailly in the 3rd with the game on the line. Yes he made the saves, he had to!
You omitted in your piece that Claude called him out after the loss in 'peg.

What the heck was he doing on the second goal, last night?
Once again on a break-away, his feet seemed to be stuck in cement. No movement until it was to late and another weak goal.
For the first time in a long time, no goals were scored on him, high glove which the weakest part of his game.

All I could think was please no shootout.
Both shooters shot wide.

The B's got the 2 points which is the most important part, I am still not sold on Rask.

Iginla is rumored to want to stay with the team he is traded to, like Ray Bourque did with the Avs. If they truly had an agreement for Iginla to stay then I would feel better about giving Calgary something closer to what they probably want. If he's a pure rental then I don't think PC will give up players they are truly high on, because they usually don't. Some people didn't like giving up Colbourne, but right now he seems to be the new prospect Leaf fans throw out in trade proposals.

I suppose Khubbadoodoobooboo should be the number 1? Trade Rask? Talk Timmy back into reality? Oh wait I know...lets just rush Subban up and make him the next Raycroft, right?

Take a look at Philly, or Tampa those are REAL goaltending problems. The B's need a guy who can at least put the puck in the ocean and another defenseman. Rask is far from their problem.

The leafs spend way to much time chasing the puck around in their own end. I cant remember ever being as frustrated watching a sporting event as I was yesterday.

Yeah, I don't blame Reimer for either Boston goal.

Reimer is the only reason the leafs got 3 of 4 points in this home and home. He made a number of outstanding saves when the leafs couldn't get the puck out of their end.

Lucic's goal was a good move, a guy breaks in with speed, gets a breakaway and goes across the crease. Almost every goalie opens their five hole there to try and stretch to the far side of the net.

The backhand goal I blame on Phaneuf. Bergeron is standing there with the puck and Phaneuf just stares at him not even a foot and a half away. DEFEND. BODY CHECK. POKE CHECK. Do something.

That's Bostons game though. They control the puck through the cycle. They frustrate teams and force them to make mistakes, and then they capitalize on the mistake.

Leafs aren't the only team I've watched chase the puck around against Boston.

Except we literally chase everyone. They lose their man on the cycle and all hell ensues. Funda(frank)ingmentals.

And Phaneuf giving Bergeron all (frank)ing day infront of the net, doesnt even take 1 step towards him..... I know were a young team but jesus murphy these are suppose to be professionals.
