Dang man... just dang. I was really pulling for you guys. Like Vancouver, it's time for some changes. You guys need a little forward depth on the 3rd/4th lines and it's time for some of your older guys to maybe go bye bye.. what is your prospect pool like?

I was surprised the sharks made it this far. Offload some dead weight like Havlat and get one or two decent talents for the 5 million wasted then we may have what is needed to have won this. Torres not getting kicked for the rest would have been nice. My tune has changed a little bit I feel adding in a few people and moving out some dead weight we will still be strong for another season or two.

The refs for all the games have been horrible! I know its a fast paced game but seeing some weak calls in most every game have had an impact on my enjoyment of the sport.

Anyone know if Thorton got hurt in the last game? He looked real tenative out there tonight.

I also want to say it's nice to be in a series where both teams and fans weren't whining about the refs every game (even though we both whined a few times). It seems anytime someone plays Vancouver the refs are always front and center even though they don't deserve to be.

Thornton was really big all playoffs long, I was really shocked to see him finish game 7 without a shot.

It was a good series, LA needed to get some revenge from 2 years ago. San Jose played great though, this rivalry is going to get pretty hot next year.

In the end I think it was LA's ability to roll 4 lines that put them over the top. San Jose's bottom 6 could get pressure, but all of their goals came from defensemen or their top 6... LA had balance between all four lines.

excellent job by the SJ coaches getting the most out of this team. the younger guys play w/ much better pace and that was something that was holding the sharks back the last few yrs.

Pavelski you have to lift that puck guy!

Sharks are a great team! Could have gone either way.

In other news..this marks the first time in a few years the Canucks haven't lost to the eventual Stanley Cup champs.

Lots of respect for Sharks and fans, your team was fully engaged and played like warriors. One of those series that you wish nobody had to lose.

As a Hawk fan, was sort of looking forward to seeing your team take a step back or two, but the adjustments you made on the fly mean you will be right in the mix as usual.

havlat should be a surefire compliance buyout, and having torres in the mix would make a pretty significant difference.
